Diocesan News
As part of the worldwide Mothers’ Union, the London Diocese is committed to support family life through prayer and practical action.
Throughout the Diocese branches are involved in local projects, such as Parent and Toddler Groups, helping patients in hospital at meal times, preparing emergency toilet bags for hospitals, contact centres, knitting blankets for premature baby units, and knitting Angel Pockets for still born babies.
Membership is open to women and men who are baptised in the Trinity, and who are concerned with the strengthening of marriage and family life.
For more information see the attached leaflet. If you would like to receive copies of the leaflet, please contact the MU Office at London Diocesan House, 36 Causton Street, London SW1P 4AU, Tel: 020 7932 1265 or email: mothersunion@london.anglican.org.

Friday 1 to Sunday 3 October 2010
St Andrew's Church, Enfield
We will be holding a flower and produce festival over the weekend of 1-3 October which is when we usually celebrate harvest.
This year it also coincides with the visit of friends from our link church of Martin Luther in Neukolln, Berlin. Many of the groups and organisations connected with St Andrew's will be decorating different parts of the church.
The Mothers Union display will be in the
South Aisle Chapel where our banner is kept.
Proceeds from the weekend will help our organ restoration appeal.
Do call into the church during the weekend and support us.
